Phebe Craig and Katherine Westine
Originally from Colorado, Phebe Craig spent her student years in Berlin, Brussels and San Francisco. She has earned a reputation as a versatile chamber musician and recitalist and has performed and recorded with many early music ensembles. As a specialist in basso continuo realization she has accompanied many prominent early music soloists. She has appeared at the Carmel Bach Festival, the Regensburg Tage Alter Music, and the Berkeley Early Music Festival. In addition to performing with many local ensembles, Craig also belongs to New York State Baroque. She teaches at the University of California at Davis and is the Director of the San Francisco Early Music Society's Baroque Music and Dance Workshop.
Katherine Westine holds a B.A. degree in Music History from the University of Washington and a Master's Degree in organ performance from Lone Mountain College in San Francisco. She has done post-graduate study in early music for harpsichord, clavichord and organ with Harald Vogel at the Norddeutsche Orgelakademie in Germany. Former teachers include Silvia Kind, harpsichord, and Wyatt Insko, organ. Ms. Westine teaches and performs in the San Francisco Bay Area, is a past president of the Alameda Branch of MTAC and is founder of the Florio Street Concerts.
